LIC introduces MyLIC and Super Sales Saathi mobile apps to enhance customer experience, streamline policy services, and empower agents with digital tools.
Mumbai : In a significant push towards digital transformation in India’s insurance sector, Life Insurance Corporation of India has launched two new mobile applications—‘MyLIC’ for customers and ‘Super Sales Saathi’ for its sales intermediaries—aimed at enhancing service delivery and accessibility. The apps were unveiled in Mumbai by M. Nagaraju, Secretary of the Department of Financial Services under the Ministry of Finance, in the presence of LIC’s CEO and MD R. Doraiswamy, along with senior leadership including Managing Directors Dinesh Pant, Ratnakar Patnaik, and R. Chander.
With a massive base of over 260 million policies and one of the deepest insurance footprints in the country, LIC is positioning these applications as central to improving operational scale, boosting service efficiency, and staying competitive in an increasingly digital life insurance market. The initiative also aligns with India’s broader push towards building a transparent, inclusive, and technology-driven financial ecosystem.
The MyLIC app offers a comprehensive, user-friendly digital platform that integrates policy servicing, claims assistance, premium payments, documentation, and customer engagement into a single interface. Designed as a 360-degree solution, it reduces dependency on paperwork and allows policyholders to manage their insurance portfolio independently. Users can view and manage policies, make instant premium payments, track benefits in real time, apply for paperless policy loans, update policy details, revive lapsed policies, and even explore and purchase new policies online through a fast and secure digital process supported by e-KYC.
Complementing this, the Super Sales Saathi app is tailored for LIC’s vast network of agents and intermediaries, equipping them with advanced digital tools to improve efficiency and customer engagement. The app provides features such as real-time policy tracking, automated follow-up reminders, integrated communication tools, AI-driven customer insights, and performance dashboards. It also includes digital sales kits and product explainers, enabling agents to deliver on-the-go presentations and better serve clients from onboarding through to policy servicing.
Both applications are powered by LIC’s DIVE (Digital Innovation & Value Enhancement) platform, which aims to deliver a seamless, secure, and fully integrated digital experience for customers, intermediaries, and employees alike. Through this launch, LIC is reinforcing its commitment to modernizing its services while ensuring greater transparency, convenience, and accessibility for millions of policyholders across India.
