In the meantime, Doordarshan's popular mega series of the eighties, Ramanand Sagar's 'Ramayan', is returning to television. Shemaro TV has announced that the show will go on air from July 3.

Sharing a clipping on Instagram, Shemaro TV said that Ramanand Sagar's 'Ramayan' will be seen on the channel from July 3 at 7:30 pm every day. Viewers are informed that their favorite shows are returning. Based on the Indian epic story, the show starred Arun Govil as Rama and Deepika Chikhilia as Sita. This show was shown on TV in the eighties. It was broadcast time every Sunday morning. The series became so popular that its episodes took the form of outdoor strikes during the airing period. Later, the production company Sagar Enterprises sold the rights to various foreign TV channels as well. Recently, a movie has been made on that Ramayana. The film starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan has been criticized in various quarters. The movie was made at a cost of 500 crores. It is one of the most expensive Indian films.

But that film could not respond in that way. Many have also raised questions about the way Hanumanji has been shown in the film. And amid this controversy, Ramayana is returning to television again. The television channel company hopes that Ramanand Sagar's popular show will become popular again with the new generation.
