Speaking at a public meeting titled 'Nava Sankalpa Sabha' in New Delhi, Nadda applauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi for prioritizing the country's development and putting an end to divisive vote bank politics.
Nagarkurnool: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Chief J P Nadda dismissed the recent meeting of opposition leaders in Patna as a superficial gathering, labeling it a "mere photo session." Speaking at a public meeting titled 'Nava Sankalpa Sabha' in New Delhi, Nadda applauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi for prioritizing the country's development and putting an end to divisive vote bank politics.
Echoing the sentiments expressed earlier by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Nadda criticized the opposition's gathering on June 23 in Bihar's state capital, claiming it lacked substance. He alleged that the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), Samajwadi Party, Trinamool Congress (TMC), and Uddhav Thackeray's Shiv Sena were primarily interested in safeguarding their dynastic politics, contrasting this with Modi's forward-looking approach for the nation.
Nadda highlighted the shift in India's international discussions during Modi's visits, noting that previously the focus revolved around Kashmir, Pakistan, and terrorism. However, under Modi's leadership, these discussions have shifted towards emphasizing development. He asserted that while Modi accelerated the country's development, he also put an end to dynastic politics and vote bank appeasement.
The BJP Chief also targeted the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) government in Telangana and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) for alleged corruption and family rule. Nadda expressed his disappointment with the backward progress of Telangana under KCR's leadership, accusing his family of exploiting the state for personal gain.
Nadda specifically criticized the state government's 'Dharani' land records management portal, claiming it had become a tool to seize farmers' lands and enrich KCR's party members. He promised that if the BJP came to power, they would abolish the portal.
During his visit to Hyderabad as part of the BJP's 'Sampark Se Samarthan' outreach campaign, Nadda also met with noted political analyst K Nageshwar and Padma Shri recipient Ananda Shankar, emphasizing the completion of nine years of the Modi-led government at the Centre.
The BJP Chief's statements reflect the party's commitment to development-oriented politics under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, while criticizing the opposition's alleged focus on dynastic politics and photo opportunities.
