The PM Modi said that the new education policy brought by his government will liberate the country from the soul of servitude.
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi advocated the Centre's new education policy again. On Saturday, Sri Swaminarayan Gurukul in Rajkot, Gujarat, hosted a special event as part of the Amrit Mahotsav to commemorate the 75th anniversary of independence. The Prime Minister on a virual address said that the new education policy brought by his government will liberate the country from the soul of servitude.
Today the Prime Minister Modi said, "It was our obligation to reestablish India's old brilliance and extraordinary wonders in education at the hour of freedom. But the government didn't look at it because of the servile mindset, and in some cases they did the opposite. The Acharyas and Sadhus have once more assumed responsibility and begun performing that work in this circumstance. Sri Swaminarayan Gurukul, in his words, is a "shining example." In addition, Modi stated, "Educated citizens and youth in a better education system will work to realize the dream of a better India when India celebrates its centenary of independence in 2047."
In point of fact, Modi had made the same remarks in October, prior to the elections for the Gujarat assembly, when the state government launched a school project. "The new education policy will help the entire country to move away from the servile attitude centered around the English language," he stated that day.
Opposition-ruled states did not implement or move toward implementing the new education policy from the Centre. The opposition, on the other hand, criticized Modi's education policy. "You know very well that our current education policy and educational institutions have to play a big role for the bright future of India," the Prime Minister said in response. As a result, in this elixir of independence, we are working at every level to develop the country's education policies and infrastructure."
"The country has created an education system for the first time, which is far-sighted and future-oriented," he said in reference to the new education policy.
