India has tremendous capacity to develop safe, effective and inexpensive vaccines. Among these, the Gates Foundation is supporting the development of several vaccines. Vaccines made in India have saved millions of lives during the Corona virus and also helped prevent other diseases from spreading around the world.”
Appreciating the co-win platform created by the Indian government for vaccination during Corona, Bill Gates said today, “Prime Minister Modi believed that co-win would become a model for the world. I completely agree with his thinking. Bill Gates also praised the improvement of India's digital payment system and kinetic program during the Corona period.
Bill Gates visited the Indian Council of Agricultural Research this week. He said that he got to know a lot of information about how the farmers should farm in the hot climate, what kind of wheat and chickpeas can survive in drought conditions if sown. He even said that he had eaten millet khichuri at a 'god bharai' event. After speaking with Prime Minister Modi, he said that he has become more optimistic about India's health, development and climate. Moreover, the prospects of the G-20 summit held in India, elimination of tuberculosis from India, education system were also discussed.
