Chatting without internet, new feature in WhatsApp

New Delhi: Now you can chat on WhatsApp without internet connection. Internet-based messaging app company Meta-owned has added a new feature to provide more convenience to customers. The company released this new feature on Thursday.

According to the company on Twitter, WhatsApp has recently introduced a proxy server so that users can communicate with anyone in person for free. The company claims that with the new feature, even if someone's phone does not have an internet connection, users can easily chat on WhatsApp by connecting to the proxy server.

The company also said that all messages sent and received from the proxy server will be end-to-end encrypted. As a result, in this case as always, the organization that is particularly focused on the privacy of the users, cannot be said separately.

Significantly, even if the internet service is down in a region due to law and order, WhatsApp chats can be carried on.

Internet services are down in Iran due to recent anti-hijab protests. People in countries like Iran, where people are at a disadvantage, are expected to benefit from WhatsApp's new feature.
